Work up an appetite for your turkey and help homeless families get back on their feet by running or walking the 9th annual Tryptophan Half Marathon, 10K, or 5K.
Race day is on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2020.

We are offering both a LIVE, in-person race day and LIVE, virtual race day experience. In these early stages of starting to race in-person again, we are taking a conservative approach to getting us to the start line. Start waves are capped. This race sells out, so participants are encouraged to sign up early. Carpooling is also strongly suggested as the parking lot at Chattahoochee Pointe Park could fill up quickly. Those who register by 11/20 are guaranteed a race t-shirt. Due to the high volume of runners/walkers, no dogs, baby strollers, bikes, or skates are allowed.

Packet pick-up is on Tuesday, 11/24 and Wednesday, 11/25 11am to 7pm at Totally Running, 6345 Halcyon Way Suite 820, Alpharetta, GA 30005 Packet pick up is also available race day starting at 6:30 am. No identification is necessary to pick up packets. You may pick up packets for friends and family.

All Live, Virtual Participants will receive a free code to access the race through the app on race day, no paid subscription is required.

To be eligible for Awards and Recognition, participants must use the Charge Running App, run anywhere between 7:30 AM (EST) – 11:30 AM (EST) on race day (Thursday, November 26, 2020) and submit time through runsignup. All times must be submitted by 11:59:59 PM (EST) on Thursday, November 26, 2020.

This year we are excited to benefit Family Promise of Forsyth County. Family Promise of Forsyth County serves families who are experiencing homelessness. In cooperation with community churches and volunteers, they provide a safe place to stay and meals along with programs and support to help the families gain or regain sustainable independence. Chattahoochee Pointe Park course is a 3.1 mile loop. 10K participants will complete two loops and Half Marathon participants will complete four and a bit more.
