Most of us fail before we even start towards a goal because we lack belief in ourselves. If you don’t believe you can achieve something, how can you expect to follow through? Well, I can get back in shape while busy. I have done it before. It is all about priorities. Someone busier than me is out there achieving their fitness goals right now. My excuses are just that, excuses.
I own a running store, I produce three local road races, I have three 11 year olds, a sweet husband, two cats, and a giant dog. My days are crazy busy but I need to get my body moving. I need to accomplish something fun. I need a challenge so I have decided to sign up for my first Sprint Triathlon! To hold myself accountable I am going to blog about my training. School may have started but August is the dog days of summer in the North Georgia area. Average temps in the high 80's/90's with 75%+ humidity adds up to a lot of sweating. Be sure to stay hydrated throughout the day and during any 1 hour+ runs.
